We will discuss how to create a sustainable retirement plan and how to determine the amount of money needed at the start of retirement and each year going forward. Investments are a supplement to retirement income, and we will review how to ensure there is enough income throughout retirement as you regularly withdraw funds from your IRA each year. We will explore Social Security as an integral part of retirement and when you should elect that benefit; and how it will be taxed. Lastly, we will look at how to select appropriate investments in your IRA so that your retirement income will keep pace with inflation and increasing Medicare premiums.
Attendees will be able to:
- Determine how much money they will need each year during retirement and if they have enough to safely and comfortably retire;
- Understand when to elect Social Security Benefits and how they will be taxed;
- Determine how to safely invest IRA assets so they will last through retirement and be able to identify if / when you could possibly run out of money. Total CEU 0.15. Product will expire 30 days from registration.
