Cindy Isaacsen
Cindy has been certified for 38 years and has been both a freelance and official reporter working in Tennessee, Louisiana, Texas, Kansas, Missouri, and Europe. The last 19 years of her career have been with the Johnson County Courthouse, in Olathe, Kan., as an official reporter covering criminal, civil, probate, and juvenile courts. Cindy has mentored many students and new reporters and currently serves as the President of the NCRA.
Carol Naughton
Carol Naughton is an official court reporter for the U.S. District Court in Norfolk, Va. Previously, she worked as a freelance court reporter for 27 years in the markets of Los Angeles, Calif., Chicago, Ill., northeast Wisconsin, and throughout Virginia and Washington, D.C.
Carol currently serves as Vice President of NCRA and is a member of the Court Reporters Advisory Group (CRAG). Her leadership contributions include service on several NCRA committees including as chair of the National Congress of State Associations (NCSA). She is also a proud supporter of the National Court Reporters Foundation (NCRF) and a fifth-year NCRF Angel. Naughton is a past president of the Virginia Court Reporters Association and continues to serve the association on committees as needed.
