Ron Cook, FAPR, RDR, CRR, CRC
Ron passed both the California CSR and the NCRA RPR in 1977 and has been reporting ever since, striving to improve every single day. Ron passed the CM (RMR) in 1986 and the first-ever CRR in 1992, and in 2013, thanks to a very good friend's very strong encouragement, passed the RDR. He regularly competes in the NCRA Speed and Realtime Contests, having won the Realtime Q&A portions in 2012 and 2016. His latest and best finish in the NCRA Speed Contest was last year's second place finish in the Q&A leg. As a bucket list item, Ron also competed in the Intersteno speed capturing and realtime contests in 2019 and finished seventh overall in both categories.
Ron also mentors high-speed students via Zoom on a weekly basis as a way to give back to the profession that has given him so much.
