Judge Bryce A.D. Ehrman
Judge Bryce A.D. Ehrman is a 1st Judicial District Court Judge chambered in Dakota County, Minn. He was appointed by Governor Tim Walz in November of 2021. His prior service includes volunteering with the Public Defender’s Office, employment as an Assistant Sibley County Attorney, Guardian ad Litem Coordinator, and an Assistant Scott County Attorney III. Judge Ehrman currently serves as the Criminal Lead Judge for Dakota County, co-chairs the Dakota County Domestic Violence Coordinate Community Response Team, and is a presiding judge in the First Judicial District Veterans Treatment Court.

Madalyn Elmquist, JD
Madalyn Elmquist is a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Richelle M. Wahi, a First Judicial District Court Judge chambered in Dakota County, Minn. Madalyn currently serves on several committees in the First Judicial District. She is also a former and honorary member of Team Ehrman.

Judge Luis Morales
Judge Morales has been serving on the bench since July 2024. He previously served as a nonprofit criminal defense attorney for the Neighborhood Justice Center. He enjoys climbing and hanging out with Judge Ehrman on Saturdays.

Debbie Peterson, RPR
Debbie Peterson, RPR, has been an official court reporter in Minnesota for 29 years. She has served on several committees in the First and Second Judicial Districts of Minnesota and has served on statewide committees in an effort to promote and advance the stenographic reporting method. She is a member of the Advisory Board for Anoka Technical College Judicial Reporting Program. She has been and continues to be involved in MAVRC, Minnesota Association of Verbatim Reporters and Captioners
