Michelle Caldwell

Michelle is in her second term as President of the California Court Reporters Association. She has been a Certified California Shorthand Reporter for 35 years and is realtime certified. She started her career freelancing in Southern California before becoming an official in California's Silicon Valley. Michelle recently retired from the court and is back in full swing in the freelance arena, covering depos and Bay Area courts. 

Burgundy (Brooke) Ryan

Burgundy (Brooke) Ryan

Brooke is the California Court Reporters Association's Immediate Past President. She served as CCRA's president from 2016 through 2018 and again in 2023. She has been a California CSR for 28 years. She started as an official court reporter and is now a freelancer covering the Bay Area. Her passion lies in legislation. She has helped to advocate for multiple bills on behalf of CCRA over the years. Brooke has two boys, Oliver and Truman, and together they love to travel the world.
