Mike Watkins
Mike Watkins has been reporting since 1991, beginning with work in Jasper, AL, at Walker County Court Reporting Firm. From 1991-94, he worked for several court reporting firms until he took an officialship position in Florence, AL, where he worked for three judges (Don Patterson, Alice Matin, and Mike Jones). In 2000, he began freelancing again with Adams and Holt in Charlotte, N.C. In 2002, Mike took an official position with the state of South Carolina and has been with them for almost 21 years. His two most high-profile trials were State of South Carolina versus Jamie Baldwin and State of South Carolina versus Alex Murdaugh.
