What does it mean to be an independent contractor? It is so much more than just getting to work and collecting a check. Many people don't understand the implications of being self-employed, what they may need to do, or how to do it. This presentation is to inform and educate you about how being a freelancer means that you are running your own business and the issues that you need to consider and attend to. This seminar is appropriate for both captioners and court or deposition reporters who wish to work for themselves. Total CEU 0.1. Product will expire 30 days from registration.
The PowerPoint used for this presentation should be downloaded from the handouts tab to follow along with the presenter.
