She is also a Fellow of the Academy of Professional Reporters (FAPR).During her tenure as 2018-2019 NCRA President Terry steered the Association toward a new direction as part of new, three-pillar strategic plan. Accomplishments under her leadership included the launch of NCRA 2.0, an effort to emphasize the Association's advocacy efforts for members, increasing transparency, strengthening our government relations team, and, most importantly, highly valuing its members' voices.

Lisa also founded Court Reporting Alliance, a fundraising endeavor to raise money for NCRA that is sponsored by independently owned and operated stenographic reporters and firms.
