Vanessa Stanton

Best known for making (sometimes cringey) stenography content on TikTok, Vanessa has been a stenographer since 2006. Her experience ranges from deposition reporting to onsite/remote classroom CART captioning and even a few years of broadcast captioning! She is currently employed as a captioner at White Coat Captioning. 

Vanessa is the first-ever stenographer to join Cameo as talent and was nominated for The Steno People’s Choice Social Media Award in 2022 and 2023. She enjoys listening to heavy metal, tinkering with steno keyboards, and learning new things, like how to use a CharaChorder. Vanessa is a passionate advocate for promoting stenography and hopes to continue adding to her 600+ steno videos on TikTok (@hauntie).
