In this webinar, you will learn about user experience and user design and how to be more inclusive in your interactions with your clients. How can you use your social media page to also be more inclusive? We will learn about accessible social media websites and assistive technology for those with disabilities. Learn how to create and edit Alt text/Image descriptions for your poses. You’ll become more familiar with hashtags, #CamelCase or #PascalCase, URLs, designing graphics, and emojis. We will also cover color and contrast for realtime screens and CART screens, as well as fonts and weights.

Michael Hensley, RDR

Mike Hensley, RDR, is a dynamic force in the world of court reporting as a freelance court reporter based in Dublin, Calif. Mike has tirelessly pursued and achieved significant milestones within the profession with standout accomplishments of obtaining RDR certification within his first five years as a court reporter and becoming a nationally ranked speed contestant.  

Mike's expertise spans coverage of a diverse range of legal proceedings. His specialty includes matters involving biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, software development, and mechanical engineering.

Beyond his individual accomplishments, Mike is deeply passionate about inspiring and mentoring fellow court reporters. He has served as President of the California Court Reporters Association and has chaired several committees for the National Court Reporters Association. Mike's infectious energy and enthusiasm shine through in his interactions, making him a captivating speaker who motivates seminar audiences to seize the day and to transform their ambitious goals into achievable realities.

Alan Peacock, FAPT, RDR, CRR, CRC

Alan Peacock, FAPR, RDR, CRR, CRC, began reporting in 1987. He lives in Mobile, Ala., and works as a freelance reporter and CART captioner. Alan is past president of the Alabama Court Reporters Association and currently serves as co-chair of the Alabama Board of Court Reporting. He has presented many seminars over the years and is a frequent contributor to JCR. Alan serves on the Technology committee for NCRA.
