Saba McKinley is a nationally recognized court reporting professional, educator, and mentor with more than 35 years of experience in the profession. Since 1991, she has built a distinguished career spanning freelance court reporting, official court proceedings, CART captioning for individuals who are late-deafened or hard of hearing, and professional instruction. 

Saba holds RPR, CRI, and CCG certifications and has served on the boards of both the California Court Reporters Association and the National Court Reporters Association and currently serves on the National Court Reporters Foundation’s Angel Gatherers Committee. She is the author of CART Captioning 101, a practical guide to helping court reporters transition their skillset to CART captioning; and is the creator of a realtime writing journal and companion guide designed for self-study.
