NCRA was proud to announce Kristi Johnson, RPR, an official from Rancho St. Margarita, Calif., as the keynote speaker for the 2025 NCRA Conference & Expo. Her inspirational story perfectly embodies this year’s theme: Elevate Your Impact. Free for NCRA members and $35 for non-members. Total CEU 0.1.
When we’re facing difficult circumstances in life, one of the best things we can do to find solutions is to shift our perspective.
NCRA was proud to announce Kristi Johnson, RPR, an official from Rancho St. Margarita, Calif., as the keynote speaker for the 2025 NCRA Conference & Expo. Her inspirational story perfectly embodies this year’s theme: Elevate Your Impact.
A nearly fatal gunshot wound to her back forced Johnson to make some difficult decisions in 1997. Now paralyzed, she faced the choice of letting this catastrophic event define her for the rest of her life or accepting her new reality and digging deep within for the courage and resilience necessary to rebuild her life and reshape her future. Johnson chose the latter.
This perspective shift enabled her to focus on what she could do versus what she could not. Five years later in 2002, Johnson received her court reporting license and has enjoyed an illustrious career ever since. Johnson is currently an official reporter with Orange County Superior Court. Her experience is a powerful reminder of the strength and resilience of the human spirit and that, even in the face of great tragedy, we are all capable of finding within ourselves the tools needed to overcome and thrive.
Free for NCRA members and $35 for non-members.
